Do I qualify for testing?

If you answer one or more of the following questions “Yes” you qualify for Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing:

1-Do you have a cough?
2-Do you have shortness of breath?
3-Are you fatigued?
4-Do you have body aches?
5-Do you have a Headache?
6-Do you have a fever of 100.5 or chills?
7-Are you concerned you may have been exposed?
8-Do you have a sore throat?
9-A new loss of taste or smell?
10-Vomiting or Nausea?
11-Diarrhea?

How is my sample for testing collected?

A cotton swab is inserted approximately one inch into each nostril.

How will I get results?

Our tests are Rapid tests and you will get the results in about 15 minutes.

Is there an out-of-pocket cost?

Currently, if you have insurance there is no co-pay or deductible.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we take most insurances carriers.

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

Go to our website (afcurgentcarememphistn.com) and click on the COVID-19 testing button to make an appointment.

How do I prepare for the visit? What do I need to bring with me?

Make sure you have completed all of the paperwork online.  Once you have made the appointment including uploading your insurance card, front and back, photo ID and sign the intake form (sign it in the designated location by typing you name) you are ready.   At the time of the appointment drive to the back of the building (5475 Poplar Ave).  There are 3 designated parking places.  Park in one of them and call 901-254-8040 and let them know you have arrived.

What if I need to bring my kids or other family members?

If all are under the same insurance carrier you can come at one time; however, you will need to book two appointments back to back on the same appointment date.

How do I get free COVID-19 testing?

If you have insurance, currently, all insurance carriers all paying for the entire cost.
